It is recommended that high frequency pokers are serviced every 200 hours or every three months, whichever is soonest.
A Basic Service consists of:
- Oil change
- New Diaphragm
- Replace Screws
- Electrical Safety Check

Our Premium Service - £90.00 +VAT
This is geared specifically for the Hire Industry, heavy usage and companies whose tools are in use constantly and therefore open to more abuse. Preventative maintenance is proven to prolong the working life and reduce downtime caused by failure. In addition, we also carry out the following:
- Dismantling and checking for worn and damaged parts
- Load test tool for half an hour in a mixture of sand and water
- Sandblast the concrete off, particularly around the switch area
- Rubber paint the hose to increase protection
Additional works / Fault Finding
If the protective hose is damaged, it might require cutting back or replacing. Depending on the amount of damage, up to an additional hours labour (£30) would be chargeable, plus parts. The same goes for the cabling.
General Information
Do not strike the poker head as this will cause permanent damage and do not run the poker for long periods outside concrete as this caused the head to overheat. It is recommended that this type of poker is serviced every 200 hours or every three months.
